Templates lets administrators set up templates for remediation requests, risk assessments, questionnaires, and identity breach notifications within the UpGuard platform.

To set up your first template, head to Settings by clicking on Settings in the sidebar.

Now you’re in Settings, you’ll see a series of tabs that run along the top of your screen. Click on Templates.

From Templates, you’ll be able to set a template for remediation requests (1), risk assessments (2), questionnaires (3), and identity breach notifications (4).

How to set your remediation request template

Our remediation request template lets you set a default title (1) and message (2) for any internal or vendor remediation requests you send through the UpGuard platform.

The title is plain text and allows you to pre-fill the vendor’s name or your account name using merge tags. In contrast, the default message supports bold or italicized text, unordered or ordered lists, and two merge tags: vendor or account name.

Edit the title and/or message to fit your needs then scroll down and click Save changes.

Once saved, your template will be available for use in any new remediation requests. The text will also appear in the notification email and as a message inside the UpGuard platform. Learn more about internal remediation requests here and vendor remediation requests here.
