Trust Centers: Manage subprocessor listings

Overview

A subprocessor listing publishes the third parties that process personal data on your behalf directly on your Trust Center. To learn more, see Trust Centers: Subprocessor listings.

🎵 Subprocessor listings are a paid Trust Exchange feature. Additionally, auto-populated suggestions require Vendor Risk or Breach Risk.

Add subprocessors to your Trust Center

  1. Click the Trust Exchange icon in UpGuard's left-hand navigation panel and select a Trust Center.
  2. Click the Subprocessors tab.
  3. Click the add (+) icon. The Add subprocessors window opens.
  4. Add subprocessors using any of these methods:
    • Select from suggestions: Select from a list drawn from your vendors in Vendor Risk and detected products from Breach Risk.
    • Search: Search for a vendor yourself.
    • Add manually: Click Create a subprocessor and enter the vendor’s details yourself.
  5. For each subprocessor, provide details such as Purpose and Data region.
    • Note: You can customize these fields in Settings (the cog in the top-right corner) > Trust Center.
  6. Save your changes.

The subprocessor now appears on your list and in the Subprocessors section of your public Trust Center, with a last-updated date.

Edit or remove a subprocessor

  1. Click the Trust Exchange icon in UpGuard's left-hand navigation panel and select a Trust Center.
  2. Click the Subprocessors tab.
  3. Find the subprocessor in the list. Use the search box to filter a long list.
  4. Click the actions (⋮) icon on that row, then select Edit or Delete.
  5. If editing, update the fields and Save changes.

🎵 Select the History button to see a list of all subprocessors that were added to, or removed from, a Trust Center.

Manage subscribers

Visitors to your Trust Center can subscribe to your subprocessor lists, and be notified when changes to subprocessors occur.

However, you can also add and remove subscribers yourself:

  1. Click the Trust Exchange icon in UpGuard's left-hand navigation panel and select a Trust Center.
  2. Select the Subscribers tab. Here you can review who has subscribed to your Trust Center, and what they’re subscribed to (Trust Center updates or Subprocessor updates, or both).
  3. To add a subscriber, click Add subscribers and enter their email. To remove one, click Unsubscribe on their row.
